Aye Jim,cotton nets,metal floats,wooden pole danlenos and manilla rope...it's all in that photo.He was 65 then,born 1894 and lived 'til he was well into his 80s and ate fish twice a day every day he could get it....a hardy auld mannie right enough.He would have had six of yer modern wee neds for his breakfast and would still have been hungry efter it !!!
